VR Pro’s popular Canada Day 5K on the Lake Ontario waterfront is back on July 1. Since 2008, the race has been an annual tradition, and this year, they anticipate over 1,000 runners across the 5K, 10K and kids 1K events. Participants can look forward to receiving a technical race shirt and a unique Canada finisher’s medal, while also contributing to the fundraising efforts for the local St. John’s Ambulance unit, with over $2,500 raised so far.
